Molly
A butterfly wing is not painted. Neither is an opal. Both are lattices — nanostructures that forbid some wavelengths and throw others back with a force pigment powder cannot match. That is a photonic crystal.
Ice highlighters ash because they scatter white — mica alone, no lattice. Titanium dioxide sits on melanin and greys it. Molly is photonic, mica, and glass — lattice, platelet, mirror — under iron oxide. Structural gold. Copper that stays copper. Makeup is light. We mixed it for the darkest sitting in the room.
Copper Leaf is Molly in a tin. The rest of the house is still blood, spice, and mouth — the same mix, quieter.

Why mica alone fails

01
Photograph the hour you love — Cannon Beach last light, a Portland maple, your own street — or sit in a light the house already keeps.
02
Yours, or Nia, Imani, Zora, Kwame, Omari, Sekou. The colorist reads depth and undertone from the pixels, not a beige slider.
03
Molly is photonic, mica, and glass — lattice, platelet, mirror — mixed for melanin in that air. Copper Leaf first. Then hibiscus, oxblood, espresso.

One bag. One checkout. One box from Cannon Beach. You track LM, not five retailer emails.
